For this assignment, we had to take a series of photos on manual settings in a row that could be edited together to make a panoramic photo. This shoot had some challenges as you did not know how the photos would turn out as you shot them. I took about 10 different series of photos, not all of them working out correctly. The above 5 are the best ones to turn out. A few of them I think turned out really well, a couple are just okay, but I'm proud to say I now know how to shoot and edit photos to be panoramics.

Original Retouched Demo My Version In this photoshop assignment, we used the quick select tool and paint brush to edit the background, and also the clone tool to get rid of some of the harsh lights on the car.
Still LifeThis week the shoot went a lot better. Though many photos were still blurry, I had a lot more which were not blurry to choose from. In this shoot, I used some keepsakes from my childhood, my winter jacket, and my phones flashlight to complete these photos. On most of the photos, I cropped the images, and also darkened the background in photoshop with the color-picker and a small paint brush.
For this next assignment I would like to take event photos of our rowing regatta this weekend. I would like to get some interesting shot of the boats as they launch off the boat and as they come down the course. Hopefully my camera will be able to get some freeze action shots as well as some motion blur.
NatureA lot of things in my photo went wrong. I had originally wanted to go to downtown Ann Arbor to take photos of the architecture, but after walking around alone for a bit, I became lost so I started my journey to try and find my car. I eventually found it and headed home. When I got home I realized I needed more photos, so I decided to change my topic to nature. I then sat in our garden for a while using a flashlight to add light to my photos as it was already dark outside. The next day in class I looked over my photos again and realized almost all of them were blurry, and I was very disappointed. That night and the next morning, I took more photos, again, most of them were blurry with was extremely frustrating, but I managed to find 6 photos that were mostly in focus that I could use.
